Curriculum

We teach the system your child is examined on

Curricula differ in more than name. The order topics are taught, the exams that matter and the way work is marked all change by country. Here is how we adapt.

United Kingdom

National Curriculum

Children move through Key Stages, with GCSEs at 16 and A-Levels at 18 deciding university places. The jump from KS3 to GCSE catches a lot of families off guard.

How we help
  • Map every tutor to the exam board your school follows (AQA, Edexcel, OCR).
  • Close the KS3-to-GCSE gap before it turns into a grade problem.
  • Past-paper drilling with mark-scheme feedback, not just worked answers.

United States

Common Core & State Standards

Standards shift between states and districts, and high school GPA plus SAT or ACT scores carry real weight for college admissions.

How we help
  • Match tutoring to your district's pacing guide so it lines up with class.
  • SAT and ACT prep built around the sections a student actually loses points on.
  • AP support for the subjects students take for college credit.

Canada

Provincial Curricula

Each province sets its own curriculum and graduation requirements, with provincial exams and diploma assessments along the way.

How we help
  • Tutors who know your province's expectations, from Ontario to BC.
  • Diploma and provincial exam preparation with timed practice.
  • Support for French-immersion and bilingual streams.

Australia

Australian Curriculum (ACARA)

Students follow the national curriculum through Year 10, then senior secondary leads to an ATAR that decides university entry.

How we help
  • NAPLAN preparation for Years 3, 5, 7 and 9.
  • Senior subject support aligned to your state's ATAR or HSC pathway.
  • Study plans that fit around the Australian school calendar.

New Zealand

New Zealand Curriculum

Secondary students work towards NCEA across three levels, earning credits through internal and external assessments.

How we help
  • Credit-by-credit planning so nothing gets left to the last term.
  • Externals preparation with real exam-condition practice.
  • Help for students moving between standards and subjects.
